If you’re tired of bulky headphones and twisting wires, switch to True Wireless headphones. During its Samsung Week, the South Korean brand offers its Galaxy Buds Live, Bluetooth headphones with active reduction, in a blue livery at a price of 139.30 euros instead of 199 euros. They are placed as a response to Apple’s Airpods Pro. Their format is very compact and somewhat reminiscent of a bean covered with a colored and metallic surface. As usual with Samsung, the finishes are impeccable. It will take a little helping hand to place them in the ears but once taken, they are light (5.6 g) and hold well in place. Pairing with a smartphone is easy, but since they don’t have a multipoint connection, they will need to be disconnected from one device before pairing them with another.
The Galaxy Buds Live companion app is intuitive and smooth. It of course gives access to the essential functions: five additional equalization profiles, a function for locating the headphones and customizing touch controls. You will be able to choose the action to manage the music, the action to take calls, etc. For audio quality, the Samsung Galaxy Buds use AKG-signed 12mm diameter transducers and a dedicated channel for bass distribution. Samsung promises six hours of battery life per charge for music and a little less for calls, with or without active noise reduction, with of course the possibility of recharging the headphones a little more via the case, which you can take anywhere seen its compactness. Good to know, it takes an hour and a half to fully charge the Galaxy Buds Live in the case.
