BENEFITS OF DETOXING FOR FITNESS AND HEALTH

Detoxing or body detoxification is a strenuous effort and the symptoms associated with eliminating toxins from the body are similar to withdrawal symptoms associated with smoking, alcohol or drug withdrawal. It is however necessary to detoxify our body for the sake of fitness and health.

At times diseases attack our bodies and we feel stressed. Pains in the body, constipation, diarrhoea, drowsiness and unexplainable weight gain can be signs of accumulating toxins in the body.

Toxins found in the body are stored in fat cells. The extent of toxins within our body is so severe and so common. But in normal cases, we don’t identify the presence of toxins in our body. Because we are so accustomed to the system of living with toxins – tons of them.

Liver

Lymph Glands
Lymph glands clean our bodies by removing toxins. The main lymph glands are located in the appendix, thymus, tonsil and spleen. The lymphatic glands help in isolating and eliminating toxins from our bodies.

Kidneys
Kidneys keep the blood free of waste materials and play an important role in the water management of the body. Kidneys are responsible for maintaining the composition of the blood. Drinking plenty of water daily helps kidneys work smarter and helps flush out more waste matter from the blood.

Lungs
Lungs supply fresh oxygen to the blood and remove waste gas from the blood. Blood carries carbon dioxide or other gases to the lungs, from where it is sent out into the air. Breathing fresh air and practising deep breathing exercises help in getting more fresh air to the blood. Practice deep breathing early morning and in areas that are less urbanized.

Colon
The colon is the area of the body that deals with solid waste management. It is found that the colon can (unhealthily) hold mucus and solid waste materials in its walls. Detoxing the colon ensures lesser instances of constipation and greater general health condition.

It is normal to experience serious detoxing symptoms. Regular walking exercise can reduce some of the symptoms. To make detoxing faster, you can try drinking lime juice or grapes juice. This will help with quicker detoxification and faster health gain.
