The Devialet surprise. The French audio brand announces on October 9 the marketing of its first headphones true wireless. A general public sector in which we did not expect the brand rather positioned on the very high end, even luxury. For 299 euros (a price close to AirPods Pro, 280 euros), Devialet has integrated three different patents, faithful to the approach applied to its speakers.
A novel noise reduction algorithm
The 10 millimeter transducers benefit, first of all, from different “Cascade decompression chambers” to magnify the sound. Ear Active Matching uses the microphone positioned in the earpiece to perform real-time acoustic calibration.
Finally, active noise reduction is based on an algorithm developed by Devialet presented as very efficient, especially at high frequencies.
Gemini’s promise six hours of battery life with ANC on and eight hours without. The case compatible with the Qi wireless charging system allows 3.5 charges of the headphones. They are also compatible with the aptX codec and meet the IPX4 standard for use in the rain. Pre-orders will open on October 10 for availability in late November.
