Accidentally deleting a notification before you have even been able to read its content has probably happened to all Android smartphone users.
If you are lucky enough to have a device that is compatible with the latest update of Google’s mobile operating system, you can activate a history in which all notifications received on your device are logged.
So, even if you accidentally erase a notification in the dedicated panel, you can still view its content by going to the history. Here’s how to activate it.
1. Open settings
Start by opening the Settings of Android. Then go to the menu dedicated to Apps and notifications, enter the section Notifications and access the menu Notification history.
2. Activate the history
Once in the menu Notification history, activate the option Use the notification history.
Once this option is activated, all notifications received on your device will be logged in a history that can be viewed at any time.
3. Quickly access notification history
From your smartphone’s home screen, deploy the action center by sliding your finger down from the top of the screen.
At the bottom of the list of notifications received, on the left, tap the menu Historical. You should go directly to the menu of theNotification history in which all the notifications recently received on your smartphone are displayed.
