Were you disappointed that you couldn’t buy the Razer gaming monitor last fall? Good news, the Raptor and its 27 inch panel 1440p and 144 Hz – almost devoid of edges – finally landed in Europe. Razer announces that deliveries to distributors have already started and availability in our areas is only a matter of weeks.
Already referenced by Amazon and soon offered for pre-order for fast delivery, the Raptor will of course also be available on the shopping site of the brand with three snakes.
To get your hands on a copy of this screen with a fairly massive design while being unusual, you will have to break the jack: 800 euros are requested.
Gaming and digital content creation
For this price, we remind you, you will have under your eyes a 27-inch panel (2560 by 1440 pixels), mounted on a hinge which allows it to go from the vertical position to the horizontal in a few seconds. The foot is very wide, enough to accommodate a strip of multicolored LEDs that can light up according to your desires.
To satisfy gamers’ appetite for tech, Razer is betting on the Ultra Low Motion Blur (also found on the Asus TUF VG279QM), the G-Sync from Nvidia and FreeSync from AMD.
For colorimetry, the panel covers 95% of the DCI-P3 space, the HDR400 is supported and the advertised brightness is 420 cd / m2 (in pic). The contrast ratio, for its part, is 1000: 1 (HDR400). If you are a gamer and / or content creator, this should increase your interest.
Finally, so that the cables do not drag everywhere, a system of arrangement is incorporated in the foot, plating the wires at the back of this one. You will be able to use the HDMI and DisplayPort inputs as well as the three USB sockets (2 x conventional USB and 1 x USB Type-C), the most “clean” in the world.
