Sony has ended a long wait. We now know the price of Playstation 5 : 499 euros for the version with 4K Blu-ray player and 399 euros for All Digital. The release is scheduled for November 19 in France but from November 12 in 7 countries including the United States, Japan and South Korea.
Sony also took advantage of this online event to present its program PlayStation Plus Collection which seems to bring together a very large panel of games which made the glory days of the PlayStation 4 and which will be available for download as soon as the console is released. We await further information on this subject.
Prices, dates … and games too
Sony has unveiled several trailers and gameplay footage of the platform’s future hits. The next Final Fantasy XVI opened the ball and will be exclusive to the PlayStation universe. Several gameplay captures taken on the PS5 were then chained to give players a preview of what to expect once their precious console is plugged into their TV.
The next Spiderman, episode number 8 of resident Evil, and a remastered of Devil May Cry 5 demonstrated their strengths. A game in the Harry Potter universe (a nice surprise from Avalanche Studios) also showed the end of her wizarding robe.
The future Call of Duty and its explosions were celebrated and, good news, PS4 players will be able to participate in an unprecedented alpha from this weekend and for a few days.
Oddworld Soulstorm, Demon’s Souls have made an appearance and this is the next episode of God of war which timidly concluded this presentation, with a release scheduled for next year.
