Disney continues to adapt to the health crisis. The group said on October 8 that they would make the next Pixar Studios film available on their Disney + service rather than releasing it in theaters. This strategy is valid according to Variety in all countries where the SVOD service is available.
A release postponed for a month
Originally slated for a theatrical release on November 25, Soul will finally be visible on Disney + from December 25. The animated film features a music teacher who dreams of playing jazz on stage. Its soundtrack is produced by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, the two members of the group Nine Inch Nails who have already won an Oscar for that of The Social Network narrating the creation of Facebook.
Recently, the American group had decided to offer the new version of Mulan on Disney +, but in a paid manner, at a price of 30 dollars in the United States. Soul, on the other hand, will be available at no additional cost to all subscribers.
