The iPhone 12 has barely been released when we are already starting to make assumptions about next year’s model. Famous analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has just published a research note which mentions that future “IPhone 13 Pro” and “iPhone 13 Pro Max” would have a new ultra-wide angle module more efficient.
It would offer an opening of f / 1.8, a six-element lens system and above all an autofocus. In comparison, the current iPhone 12 have an ultra wide angle module with an opening of f / 2.4, a five-element lens system and fixed focus.
This technology would be applied the following year to all models of the future “IPhone 14”.
Going back to the iPhone 13, Ming-Chi Kuo indicates that there would be four sizes as for the iPhone 12. The analyst predicts an increase in deliveries compared to the previous year, thanks to the new camera module, but also thanks to the increase in the infrastructure of 5G networks.
