Last week a whole bunch of Windows source code leaked to the 4chan forum. Microsoft has not confirmed the authenticity of these codes, but for two of them, it is now accepted. In fact, the IT specialist and YouTuber NTDEV succeeded in compiling the source codes relating to Windows XP and Windows Server 2003.
Asked by Zdnet, however, he specifies that the source codes are not complete. Some components are missing, including Winlogon.exe which manages the opening and closing of connection sessions. The systems he obtained after compilation are therefore not really usable on a daily basis and could not replace a real Windows. But this experience proves that these codes are genuine.
