Women’s Rights Day: inheritance, a brake on the emancipation of African women

International Women’s Day on March 8 was formalized in 1977 by the United Nations. This day is an opportunity to remind each year that gender equality has still not been achieved. But, there are also developments around the world on this issue, particularly in Côte d’Ivoire, where the legislation around inheritance has started to change in recent years.
